Hair Loss

Hair loss (alopecia) can result from genetics, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune disorders, and external stressors such as poor nutrition or illness. Androgenetic alopecia, the most common type, is hereditary and leads to gradual thinning. Other types include telogen effluvium (stress-related shedding) and traction alopecia (caused by prolonged tension on the hair follicles). Identifying the underlying cause is key to effective treatment.
Symptoms:
- Thinning hair, bald patches, receding hairline
- Excessive shedding or slow hair regrowth
