Dr. Zabawski returned to Texas after founding and operating the premier medical and surgical dermatology practice in New Hampshire. He has more than 25 years of experience in the dermatology space after starting in medicinal chemistry research and
graduating with a pharmacy degree from Duquesne University.
After graduation, Dr Zabawski attended fire school, and then medical school in Ohio and completed his dermatology residency in Texas. Along the way, he earned a certificate in jazz theory, authored and coauthored many papers and book chapters, and completed his master’s in business administration at the University of Texas at Arlington in the fall of 2024.

He was one of the first doctors in East Texas awarded Texas SuperDoctor, in 2004 and
is a member of many organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology,
and the prestigious Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. He is also adjunct
Assistant Professor at Texas Christian University.
Dr. Zabawski has diverse interests, including music, literature, sports, fishing and genealogy. When he is not busy working, he enjoys his family and community most of all.
