Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating that occurs without a direct cause and lasts for more than six months. It affects around 1-3% of the population and is classified as primary (idiopathic) or secondary (due to medications or underlying conditions such as infections, hyperthyroidism, or obesity).
Symptoms:
- Persistent, excessive sweating that occurs in localized areas such as the underarms, palms, face, and soles
- Sweating that affects daily activities
- Sweating that stops during sleep
